Bacon Cheeseburger Ingredients
- 8 slices thick cut smoked bacon
- ½ teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper
- 1 ½ Lbs ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- Sliced tomatoes / pickles
- 1 large sweet onion sliced in thin rings
Maple Syrup BBQ Sauce Ingredients
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 2 tablespoon Apple cider
- ½ cup Pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce of choice
- ½ teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

Preparing Maple Syrup BBQ Sauce
Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat it up to a boil and keep stirring. Lower down the temperature and let it boil and simmer for about 5 minutes and remove from heat to cool down.

Preparing Bacon Cheeseburger
Mix the meat with salt and pepper in a bowl. Divide the meat into 4 equal portion and form 4 large patties. Equip your grill with the nomadiQ Griddle on one side and heat up both sides. Cut the buns in two and all the toppings in thin slices in the meantime. Put the bacon strips on one side of the Grill on medium power and turn the strips so now and then for 7-8 minutes until these are nice and crispy.
Place the burgers on the other side of the bbq for 3-4 on both sides on the highest power setting. During the last minutes, place the buns for a few seconds on the grate, so the inside is crispy. When the hamburgers are about to be done, put a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger and let it melt.
To assemble the bacon cheeseburger, add lettuce to the top of the bottom half of the bun, place the cheeseburger and 2 slices of bacon on top. Add the sweet onion rings, tomatoes and pickle slices on top and finally about one tablespoon of homemade maple syrup bbq sauce. Close the burger, serve and enjoy!
